Callfor the constitution of a South American Parliamentary space

The Presidents gathered at the Second Summit of Heads of State of the South American Community of Nations, convinced of the importance and necessity to strengthen the process of constituting our Community, generating institutional mechanisms for reflection, debate and consensus among our countries, agree:

TO SUPPORT the convergence and gradual articulation of the sub-regional parliaments existing or in process of being installed, with a view to establishing a South American parliamentary space, which includes the twelve countries of the region,

TO UNDERLINE the importance of the creation of a South American parliamentary space, which should permit the incorporation of representatives of the twelve States that make up the Community, agree:

TO URGE the member countries that the space of encounter of the South American parliamentarians have as it’s permanent headquarters the city of Cochabamba, Republic of Bolivia.
