Second Summit of Heads of State of the South American Community of Nations,
South Ameican education integration
The Presidents gathered at the Second Summit of Heads of State of the South American Community of Nations recognize the essential importance of education integration for the formation of a common integrating conscience of South American youth; therefore we decide:
TO CALL ON the Commission of High-level Functionaries so that, through a Work Group and with the support of regional entities working on education and culture, they might formulate an education integration plan in which includes, among other issues, a shared taking advantage of educational advances; South American accreditation of university studies and high school degrees; the progressive mutual recognition of education programs; the exchange of teachers and students among national systems; the establishment of South American Exchange Scholarships; the development of contents and course of on integration and south American trade.
The Work Group, through the Commission of High-level Functionaries, will present a report on its work to be considered at the Third Summit of Heads of State of the South American Community of Nations.
