Fourth Assembly of Caribbean Peoples ( terms of participation)
“THE CARIBBEAN: DIVERSITY, RESISTANCE, SOLIDARITY AND ALTERNATIVE INTEGRATION”
The Organizing Committee of the hosting country, on behalf of all society and of the Cuban people, has arranged for the Fourth Assembly of Caribbean People to be held at the “Julio Antonio Mella” International Camp located in Caimito, province of La Habana, a symbolic facility that welcomes each year the Brigades in Solidarity with Cuba organized by the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP).
We wish to advise that the terms of participation are the following:
The participants will cover their transportation to and from Cuba and the airport taxes, which in Cuba amount to 25 CUC1.
The “Julio Antonio Mella” International Camp will offer lodging in bedrooms for eight persons during one week (7 nights), full course (breakfast, lunch and dinner), in/out transfer and transportation to all the activities included in the program of the Fourth Assembly, for the sum of 130.00 CUC (Cuban Convertible Pesos) per person. This price is not negotiable for travel agencies. The cost of each extra night will be 10.00 CUC.
Simultaneous interpretation in Spanish, English and French is ensured for all the plenary sessions.
Optional visits to historical and tourist locations are not included and will be paid by the participants according to their interests.
The camp has a 24-hour medical and ambulance service, as well as urgent dentist care. An agreement with two nearby hospitals covers medical urgencies.
