The Cry of the Excluded is a widespread demonstration of the people, that has taken on a hemispheric dimension, under the theme "For Work, Justice and Peace". Its aim is to denounce all forms of exclusion and to point to possible solutions and alternatives. In this year 2000, actions will begin in Brazil, together with the "National Plebiscite on the Foreign Debt", taking place on September 2-7, and will culminate on October 12 with programs prepared in various countries of the continent, marches in border cities and a walk through the streets of New York towards the UN complex, where a document will be presented about the situation of exclusion, which increases geometrically with each new step of neoliberal globalization. It is a process in which the most diverse groups of excluded people have a voice and presence, and participate at all stages. It is a process that moves forward by interlinking with the multiple forms of resistance to neoliberalism. Therefore, this year, its actions are enrolled in a common agenda drawn up with other dynamics, such as the World March of Women, Jubilee 2000, the March of Undocumented Immigrants, the Hemispheric Social Alliance, the World Assembly of Urban Inhabititants and the Forum against Racism and Xenophobia.
